Day 59 - The View from Modern One

Today’s photo is a shot taken at Modern One, part of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (I have previously posted a shot of Modern Two which is the sister building to Modern One).  I took two images, one of the Gallery itself and this one and I was really torn on which to post for the blog as I loved them both.  The shot of the Gallery looked best in black and white and this one in colour.  In the end I chose this one as I like the colour, the lines of the artwork and the atmospheric sky but I decided to post the black and white image as well on Flickr (if you are interested in that one you can see it here).

The artwork you can see in the centre of the Frame is called Landform, by Charles Jencks.  You can learn more about the gallery and the artworks both inside and outside the Museum here.

Fabulous image, Euan. Love the curvature and reflections in the water, the light and the moody sky. Great location.
