Day 78 - Newhailes House

Today’s shot is a photo of Newhailes House (click here) near Musselburgh.  The house is now maintained by the National Trust for Scotland and is well worth visiting during the open season.  The original house was built in the 1680s and was updated to include the wonderful library wing later in its life which is when it also took its current name.  The library is truly fantastic and played a key role in the Scottish Enlightenment (click here).   This is one of my favourite shots from the Project so far.
